Using your Visa debit card at Woolworths outlets is changing
The Woolworths group is progressively changing its EFTPOS processing network. As a result customers with a zero interest Visa debit card will no longer be able to press the 'credit' button or sign when making a purchase at any Woolworths group outlet.
Instead when making a purchase using your Visa debit card, you will need to press the 'cheque' option and enter your PIN to access funds.

The Woolworth's group includes all Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets / liquor / petro, BIG W, BSW, Dan Murphy's, Dick Smith, Tandy, Thomas Dux and ALH.
All financial institutions who issue Visa debit cards will be impacted by Woolworth's decision.
